I will renew your strength. I will strengthen and help you. (Isaiah 40:31, 41:10)
July 6, 2019 – Got Healthy Habits?
“Your light shall break forth as the morning and your health shall spring forth speedily.” Isaiah 58:8
Good morning! A bunch of us are kicking off the second part of 2019 by participating in a daily FB thread. We want to help each other stay committed to the healthy habits path we’ve chosen: to drink water, make some healthy food choices, and get some form of exercise.
Very casual group for people who are busy. They don’t have to buy anything or do anything specific to the group – just want to be the best version of themselves and check in.
Studies show that surrounding yourself with others who are also on the same journey will increase the likelihood of your success in reaching your goals of eating well, exercising more and losing or maintaining a healthy weight.
So, after a planned month of celebrating holidays and birthdays, today we choose to get back to drinking more water, eating more veggies, eating fewer silly carbs, and enjoying daily physical activities.
Link arms with someone with the same goals as you – if you’d like to join us, you are most welcome! Check in to our Facebook page and let us know. We’ll add you to the thread!
There’s also a great post on Beachbody’s blog for another 7 Tips to Make Getting Healthy Easier to encourage you and your accountability partners.
In the meantime, may your today be as exciting as Finn is about this morning’s walk! 🤗

From one of our most favorite pastors:
Afternoon word study: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). “hurt” (Greek: ADIKEO) — to suffer injustice or to suffer some kind of wrong or wrongdoing.

My joy is your strength. A merry heart does good like a medicine (Neh. 8:10; Pr.
